![]() Either that is something I did or the book does make the distinction somewhere. Ships Complement: checking the spreadsheet I made I have a column for 'Crew' and 'Passengers' as separate. ![]() but no one else has responded so I'll take a crack at it. I don't have my book in front of me, and it's been a few years, and it's been a few years. I assume that for example EC: 10,000 means that a ship could carry for example 2,500 blaster rifles (each at encumbrance 4), but I cannot find it spelled out anywhere in the book.Ĭan anyone help me by pointing me in the right direction? Is “Consumables” a measure of how much food, water and breathable atmosphere the ship carries with it? If that is so, does “Three months” mean that the ship can remain in deep space for three months with only its standard crew complement or with its full passenger capacity? Or is it a measure of how much fuel the tanks can hold? Likewise with Encumbrance Capacity. Moreover, I cannot find where the book explains what exactly the “Consumables” and “Encumbrance Capacity” stats do. ![]() ![]() Granted, it may simply be a case of me not being able to see the forest for the trees, but as far as I can tell the book never explains if the “Ship’s Complement” is added to the “Passenger Capacity” to calculate the total number of warm (or droid) bodies a ship can carry. So I have been reading the Core Book for Edge of the Empire and there is something about the Vehicle/Spaceship section that is bothering me. ![]()
